College golfer reveals the one secret to better golf, lower scores

Every golfer wants to play better, save strokes. Even a one-shot difference would make the average golfer very happy. Well, a college golfer has laid out the secret to lower scores, and he posted it to Twitter so we could all benefit from his wisdom.

University of Washington junior Chris Babcock devised this gameplan after he finished in 90th place, including a final-round 74, in the individual portion of theĀ Amer Ari Invitational.

The message is pretty simple: hit every fairway (preferably after a very long drive), hit each green, avoid hazards and bunkers and the rough. Then, once on the green, make the putt, regardless of distance for a birdie or, in some cases, eagle.
