VIDEO: John Hahn shoots 58 at European Tour Q-School

It was cut day at European Tour Q-School, with players needing to get into the top 70 and ties to have a chance at the final two rounds and a top-25 finish to earn European Tour status for 2015. American John Hahn needed to make a big move. Sitting a T-104, he needed to take it deep to assure a tee time for the final 36 holes.

Man, did he deliver. Hahn shot 12-under 58 -- 12 birdies, no bogeys -- on the Tour Course at PGA Catalunya Resort in Spain to jolt some 90 spots on the leaderboard and comfortably into the final third of the tournament.

Unfortunately, the European Tour won't consider Hahn's round the first official sub-60 score in their history. Since players enjoyed preferred lies during the round, it doesn't count for their record book.

But it's a 58.
