VIDEO: Man flung from golf cart after crashing into utility pole

Have you ever wondered why your local golf course limits how fast your golf cart can go? This video is a great example of why.

A private security camera captured footage of a golf cart slamming into a utility pole just outside of a residential building in Ambergris Caye, Belize. The driver of the cart was flung out into the street while the passenger's body slammed into the cart's windshield. The driver lays on the ground for a minute before recovering, while the passenger steadies themselves and walks away without regard for the driver.

It's unclear if the driver was drunk, not paying attention, unable to see, fleeing after stealing the cart or what.

Between this video and the recent European golf-cart crash-test video, you now have enough warnings to know never to drive impaired or distracted in a golf cart. Bad things happen.
