This LED-powered golf ball makes night golf even better

FOLLOW: iHEART | TUNEIN

Have you ever played night golf with a glow ball? It's a lot of fun, if a little disorienting at first. But it's typically played with a golf ball that is good for the duration of a round, kind of like a glow stick. At $2 or so a pop, it's not a bad deal.

However, a new brand of glow ball not only lasts one round, but can last up to eight rounds.

The Light-Up Golf Ball by Night Sports USA is an LED-powered golf ball in three colors -- red, green or blue -- that lasts up to 40 hours. The LED in the ball is unique enough, but the light is controlled entirely by impact. When a player hits the ball, it remains lit for 8 minutes so they can find their ball.

The bad news? If you're still searching at 8:01, it turns off. And at $30 for a four pack, that's a $7.50 donation to a forest or water hazard.
