After a lengthy delay, the Web.com Tour finally released its 2014 schedule on Friday. The 25-event schedule kicks off in Colombia on Feb. 13 with the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship and culminates on Sept. 21 with the finish of the Web.com Tour Championship at the conclusion of the Web.com Tour Finals, which enters its second season of existence.

Four events dropped off the '14 schedule, but were netted out with the addition of three new events and the resurrection of another.

The long-running Cox Classic in Omaha is off the schedule, as are the Mylan Classic in Pittsburgh, the event at TPC Potomac in suburban D.C. and the Stadion Classic at the University of Georgia golf course.

The new events include the Cleveland Open (June 5-8), Nova Scotia Open (July 3-6) and the Winco Foods Portland Open (Aug. 21-24). The Web.com Tour returns to TPC Stonebrae after a one-year absence with the playing of the Stonebrae Classic from July 31-Aug. 3.

The Panama Claro Championship, which has kicked off the year each of the last three seasons, was postponed from its lead-off position to the middle of March at the tail end of the Latin America stretch.

The four tournaments comprising the Web.com Tour Finals remain the same as a year ago, kicking off in Ft. Wayne, Ind., with the Hotel Fitness Championship, then near Charlotte for the Chiquita Championship, to Columbus, Ohio, for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and ending at TPC Sawgrass on Dye's Valley Course for the Web.com Tour Championship.

The top 25 players from the Web.com Tour money list prior to the start of the Web.com Tour Finals are assured status on the PGA Tour in 2014-15. Players ranked 26th to 75th in Web.com Tour money also qualify for the Finals, as do Nos. 126-175 in the FedEx Cup points standings, all playing for an additional 25 PGA Tour spots based on their earnings in the Finals.
