Gary Player dressed up as The Fonz? Sure

Gary Player is probably in about as good of shape today in 2013 as when he won the Masters and Open Championship for his only multi-major season in 1974.

That just so happens to be the year "Happy Days" premiered. Not that the Black Knight knew all of that, but he did dress up like Arthur Fonzarelli from the classic sitcom for the 1960s-themed party night at the Gary Player Invitational in South Africa.

Friend Tony Johnstone tweeted out a picture of Palmer in his Fonzie outfit.

And for the side-by-side comparison with the actual Fonz, Henry Winkler.

Fonz-Player

Now there is some conjecture as to just who Player actually was dressing as. The tournament's Twitter account says Player was dressing as John Travolta's Danny Zuko from "Grease".

The Fonz is better. Way better.
