Man has incredible Ben Hogan tattoo as tribute to grandfather

Golf tattoos are pretty rare. For whatever reason, the type of person that plays golf doesn't also seem to be the kind of person that gets a tattoo. (That would be a fun Venn diagram.)

However, in this even more rare case, someone has a golf tattoo that is absolutely awesome.

Joe Logan of MyPhillyGolf.com posted an outstanding picture of a Ben Hogan tattoo that he saw ahead of a recent round of golf.

[line-quote color="red"]I was chatting with one 30ish fellow when I noticed the tattoo on his lower leg: Ben Hogan, in his famous Hy Peskin pose from the 1950 Open at Merion, with the inscription "For Grandad."[/line-quote]

The man told Logan that his grandfather was the one who introduced him to the game.

Of course, the published history of golf tattoos is not a good one. If you've ever seen the tattoos of Davis Love III (doesn't look like him) or Bubba Watson (he's left-handed), then you know it often turns out pretty poorly.
