Rory McIlroy, Gary Woodland race to kick off BMW Championship








Defending BMW Championship winner Rory McIlroy and long-driving Gary Woodland put the pedal to the metal ahead of the third leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs at Conway Farms.

On Tuesday, 2012 BMW Championship winner Rory Mcllroy competed in a driving challenge against Gary Woodland in a BMW i3, a new electric vehicle produced by the tournament's title sponsor.

McIlroy and Woodland competed on a driving course created at Six Flags Great America.
