Vijay Singh wins Fiji Golf Club title

Vijay Singh's PGA Tour season is over, as he failed to qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs when he finished No. 146 in regular-season points.

So what's a guy like Singh to do when he doesn't have a place to play in the States and his litigation against the PGA Tour isn't scheduled to resume until Sept. 10?

Win in his home country, according to the Fiji Times.

Singh won the Fiji Golf Club championship on Saturday, shooting 67 at Vatuwaqa G.C. to win the A-flight. Seriously. Mohammed Rizwan finished second, shooting what the Fiji Times described as "67 nett."

The good thing for Singh is that his earnings will almost certainly not be placed into escrow.
