Phil Mickelson commits to The Greenbrier Classic

Phil Mickelson has committed to compete at The Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., in July, the tournament announced Tuesday.

Mickelson, who turns 43 on June 16, will be making his third consecutive appearance in the tournament. He has missed the cut in his prior two appearances, failing to break 70 in four rounds at the Old White TPC course.

The Greenbrier Classic will be played July 4-7.
