Dustin Johnson has pulled out of a third-consecutive tournament, withdrawing from this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Johnson tweeted Tuesday, "Tried to go but have inflammation in my facet joints. Some rest and daily therapy with my physical therapist, then I should be good!!"

The winner of the season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions has been dealing with inflammation in his wrist. He was one of nine players to withdraw ahead of the Wells Fargo Championship, then pulled out of The Players Championship last week citing a lower-back injury after an opening round of 2-over 74.
