Deutsche Bank extends sponsorship of second playoff event through 2016

The second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs with keep Deutsche Bank as its title sponsor through 2016, the PGA Tour announced Wednesday night.

The tournament known as the Deutsche Bank Championship will be played for the 10th time this week. The financial firm has been the title sponsor of the Labor Day weekend event since its creation in 2003.

The Tiger Woods Foundation will continue to serve as the tournament's host organization and primary beneficiary. To date, the tournament has donated $20 million to charity.
