John Daly still has a good chance to earn his PGA Tour card for 2013, but the two-time major winner's quest to regain status after five years without will have to wait until after the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Daly shot a two-round total of even-par 140 at Sedgefield C.C. in Greensboro, N.C., to finish a shot off the cut at the Wyndham Championship on Friday.

Despite a second round of 68, Daly was unable to join the 77 others players to get through to the weekend.

Entering the week at No. 137 in FedEx Cup points, Daly had to finish in the top 13 to have any chance to pierce the top 125 in the standings and gain a berth into the playoff opener at The Barclays next week.
