Stockton: Don’t make putting harder than it is

On this week's The 19th Hole Golf Show, putting guru Dave Stockton told us about his approach to putting.

In short, Stockton thinks most players make putting way more difficult than it is. Being a good putter, in Stockton's eyes, does rely on fundamentals, but equally as much on your confidence.

"It's not that hard," he said. "Your hands don't have to move very much. It's more of a vision. Do you line yourself up correctly? Do you see where you have to go? Then it's just a matter of trusting the blade and letting it happen."
