PGA Championship: Scott rues missed opportunities on the par 5s

If Adam Scott does not win the PGA Championship after a Sunday marathon, he can blame his fate on the longest yards of Pete Dye's Ocean Course on Kiawah Island.

Scott is just 3 under on the par 5s this week thanks, in part, to a pair of 6s in the holes he had to complete on Sunday morning to end the third round.

"I played well again, just a couple errors on the par 5s," Scott said, according to Reuters.

"I was in good position, but a couple of poor shots and I ended up making six from a position I should be making four. It's put me a little bit behind the eight-ball starting this afternoon. I'm going to have to play very well and make some putts."
