ESPN bumps up Open Championship broadcast to catch Tiger and Phil

With the release of the groupings and tee times for the first two rounds of this week's Open Championship at Royal Lytham and St. Annes, ESPN announced Monday it would bump up its broadcast window to catch the full rounds of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

ESPN will go live with coverage from England at 4:30 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday and Friday.

Woods tees off with Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia at 4:42 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday. Mickelson tees off with Luke Donald and Geoff Ogilvy in his second round at 4:31 a.m. Eastern. Local time is five hours ahead of the Eastern time zone.
