Lorena Ochoa to compete on Ladies European Tour

Lorena Ochoa has lined up a small schedule of fall events, including a stop on the Ladies European Tour in October.

Ochoa announced Thursday on her website she would be competing in the French Open on the LET. She will also compete in her own Lorena Ochoa Invitational on the LPGA Tour from Nov. 8-11 in her hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico.

The 30-year-old would have competed in her own event last year, but was pregnant with her first child. She gave birth to son, Pedro, in December 2011.

Brother and agent Alejandro Ochoa told GNN he expects Ochoa to compete in three or four sanctioned events in 2013, as well as two or three exhibition events.
