Andrew "Beef" Johnston became an instant celebrity after his breakthrough win on the European Tour in Spain, perhaps becoming an even bigger star in the United States. However, the affable Englishman struggled with the realities of fame, and his golf game suffered.
After admitting the struggles in a blog post on the European Tour website this week, Beef closed with 62 at the Scottish Open on Sunday to land a spot in next week's Open. When he spoke with Sky Sports after the round, the emotion was too much.
