The absurdly comfortable shorts golfers are playing in

by Ryan Ballengee

I thought I was aware of every golf brand out there.

That was until the other day in the clubhouse where my buddy wore a pair of shorts I had never seen on the golf course.

I recognized them from a TV commercial I saw the night before on SportsCenter. The advertisement claimed that Birddogs are the “most comfortable shorts in the world.” I had to see if they actually lived up to the hype.

The guy did not hold back.

“These shorts have literally changed golf for me.”

He said he bought one pair and quickly replaced his entire wardrobe with Birddogs.

Apparently, he was hesitant at first because the shorts have built-in underwear, requiring you to “free ball.” However, after one wear, he was hooked. To him, wearing built-in underwear made the whole golf experience that much better.

The conversation left me wondering if there was something missing from my golf game. I went ahead and purchased a pair. And boy, my buddy was right. These things are absurdly comfortable.

A week later, I bought 3 more pairs. I’m not playing golf in anything but Birddogs ever again. The built-in underwear is way more comfortable than anything else out there. Seriously.
