The 2019 Turkish Airlines Open purse is set for $7 million, with the winner's share coming in at $2,000,000 -- more than the standard 16.67 percent payout according to the European Tour's prize money distribution chart.
The Turkish Airlines Open purse is effectively two purses in one. The winner gets $2 million for taking home the title this week. Then, after that $2 million is paid to the winner, the rest of the field is paid based on a $5 million purse.
The Turkish Airlines Open field is headed by Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, Bernd Wiesberger and more. There are 74 pros in the field with one amateur from Turkey.
With this being a no-cut event -- as are all events in the European Tour Final Series -- pay is reduced for all players by place compared to the normal pay scale.
The Race to Dubai points for this event and the final two after it are increased, with the points standings determining the field for the final two events of the season.
The event is played this year at The Montgomerie Maxx Royal in Antalya, Turkey.
