The 2019 Invesco QQQ Championship purse is set for $2 million, with the winner's share coming in at $305,000 -- more than the standard 15 percent payout according to the PGA Tour Champions' prize money distribution chart.

The Invesco QQQ Championship field is a 54-player event to start the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs. There's no cut, and Bernhard Langer is defending champion of the playoffs.

The 54-player field was determined based on combined points from the regular season and the first playoff event, the Dominion Energy Charity Classic. All dollars earned during the regular season were converted into one point, and money earned in the playoffs converts to 2 points per dollar. The top 36 players in the standings after this week move on to the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship.

The winner of the Charles Schwab Cup Championship wins a $1 million annuity, while the next four players in the final points list will earn some of the playoff purse.

Scott McCarron leads the Charles Schwab Cup race going into this second event of the playoffs.

The event is played this year at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
