The Symetra Tour continues its remarkable expansion in the 2020 season, as Symetra Tour Chief Business Officer Mike Nichols and his team have signed a three-year deal with Idaho's Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel to host the Road to the LPGA.

The resort's Circling Raven Golf Club, rated as the top public course in Idaho, will host the $200,000 Circling Raven Championship. The inaugural event will be played Aug. 27-30, 2020.

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe, which owns and operates the resort and golf club, is bringing the event to town as a way of bringing more golfers to the property. (Our Darin Bunch was there this summer for GolfTripX, and he'll be reporting more soon on his stay.)

“We are big supporters of women’s golf and are proud to work with the LPGA in hosting the Symetra Tour’s Circling Raven Championship,” said Francis Sijohn, CEO of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel.

“We invest substantially in CDA Casino Resort Hotel and the golf club, to ensure our guests and golfers are thrilled with their experiences. We’re confident that having many of the world’s best women golfers showcasing their games at our excellent resort and golf club is a winning strategy.”

For Nichols, who has found success in hosting Symetra Tour events on Native American-owned resorts and properties, adding Circling Raven to the schedule means yet another world-class venue for up-and-coming female pros looking to land one of 10 LPGA cards through the Symetra Tour's season-long money list.

“We are excited to welcome Circling Raven and CDA Casino Resort Hotel to the Symetra Tour family and grateful for their partnership,” said Nichols “There’s no doubt that our Tour members will be thrilled to compete on a renowned course for the generous purse in the Circling Raven Championship. This will definitely give some lucky players a major boost in the Volvik Race for the Card.”
