Asics is one of the great shoe brands in the world, and they make some solid, reasonably priced golf shoes, too. The problem is those shoes aren't available in the United States, except through eBay or some other kind of back channel.

However, that's about to change.

Cleveland-Srixon-XXIO Golf has formed an exclusive partnership with Asics which will make the clubmaker the distributor of Asics golf shoes in the United States and Canada.

As part of the partnership, two new shoe models, the Gel Course and Gel Course Duo, will hit that market in December 2019. Both models are inspired by the innovation found in Asics running and athletic shoes.

Asics was founded in 1949, with the name an acronym for a famous Latin expression “anima sana in corpore sano,” which translates to “a sound mind in a sound body.”
