The 2019 British Open Championship begins with the biggest names in golf coming off wins and high finishes galore, surging the buzz around the year's final men's major. Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson are the headliners at Royal Portrush, which hosts the Open for the first time since 1951.

The British Open Championship TV schedule is something a lot of golf fans have come to know with NBC and Golf Channel airing the championship now for the fourth year. It's predictable for a reason, and NBC and Golf Channel air four days of live golf action from Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. Golf Channel has TV coverage of Thursday's first round and Friday's second round, with Golf Channel airing coverage of the latter portion of Saturday and Sunday coverage, before NBC takes over the latter portion of Saturday's third round and Sunday's final round.

With expected poor weather on Sunday, the R&A has moved up final-round tee times by two hours. That has forced NBC to bump up their Sunday coverage window by two hours on Golf Channel, and the final round will air on NBC an hour earlier than originally planned, now at 6 a.m. Eastern.

All of this coverage can be streamed online using the British Open Championship app, TheOpen.com, NBC Sports app or Golf Channel app. However, if you prefer to watch the 2019 British Open Championship on good, ole-fashioned TV, here are the 2019 British Open Championship TV times and schedule.
