The 2019 US Open purse is set for $12.5 million, with 75 professional players who made the cut after two rounds at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, Calif., earning a paycheck this week.
The winner's share of the US Open prize pool is at $2,250,000, with the second-place finisher taking home $1,350,000.
The US Open field is headed by Brooks Koepka, Gary Woodland, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy and more of the world top 50 in the third men's major of the year.
Though 79 players made the 36-hole cut, all of the players are allowed to finish the tournament on Sunday and move up the leaderboard in the final round. No are subject to the PGA Tour's secondary cut.
