The European Tour has no problem putting a tee box wherever they see fit. That can be on the roof of a villa at a resort in Turkey. It can be in a hospitality area. And at this week's 2019 Made in Denmark, it's going to be in a beer tent.

Players competing at Himmerland Golf Resort will have to walk through the Heineken Lounge to make their way to the 14th tee, before walking out the back door and onto the deck area of the hospitality tent. From there, players will walk out onto a custom-built artificial-turf tee box for the 395-yard par 4 and start the hole from there.

After the players hit, they'll walk down a ramp built off the tee box to get to the fairway, play the hole and complete their round.

On the 15th hole, there isn't another beer tent to walk through, but fans are able to walk on top of a Maersk container and watch the players tee off with an elevated view. The emphasis of the week is on connecting tournament goers with the businesses powering the Danish economy.

Of course, the European Tour pros aren't all that worried about teeing off in awkward places. For one, they're kind of used to these types of gimmicks to get fans closer to the players. Second, the Made in Denmark event is one of the better parties on the European Tour, so this kind of thing is expected. Most importantly, however, they're getting paid to play golf this week.
