The worlds of golf fans and sneakerheads both went into a tizzy when Nike announced their plans to sell a Masters-themed version of the Air Jordan 11 Low golf shoes in time for the first men's major of the year.
The Nike Air Jordan 11 Low Golf Masters shoes were set for public release on April 8, and then they were quickly pushed back to April 12, the Friday cut day at the Masters Tournament. However, now Nike has decided they will not be selling the shoes or the related Snake Pack of other accessories to the public.

In a statement on Twitter, Nike said, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Nike Golf 'Snake Pack' will NOT be going on sale. However, athletes will still wear the 'Snake Pack' at Augusta."
It's unfortunate these shoes won't be available for the public, as a lot of golf fans were pining for a pair. However, at least we'll get to see the shoes in action at the Masters and maybe some pairs will find their way to eBay.
