The 2018 PNC Father-Son Challenge was won by Team Davis Love, with Davis Love III shooting a record round of 56 with son Dru Love to win the 36-hole scramble event at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.
The Loves won the $200,000 winner’s share of the $1,085,000 purse. However, each of the 20 teams in the field are paid for their efforts. The teams can split the prize money if both players are professionals, as the Loves are. If the younger player is an amateur, though, the professional technically is to collect all of the prize money.
