adidas Golf's adipower line has always been designed to be a lighter shoe for easier mobility, in both spiked and spikeless versions. They're meant to be particularly comfortable while offering more than enough stability for day-to-day conditions.

The company is upgrading the adipower line, coming out with the adipower 4ORGED iteration of the lineup. The 4ORGED (spiked) and 4ORDED S (spikeless) shoes were built on the latest research into how golfers move their weight during the swing, then taking that data to develop a new process, called forging (for shoes), which heat-presses the shoes' materials in areas where golfers need the most stability. The press hardens the material in those key areas without adding mass, while providing additional lateral support.

“Anytime we can keep a shoe lighter without sacrificing the technology golfers need to play their best is a huge win,” said Masun Denison, adidas Golf's global footwear director.

Of course, as has become standard in adidas Golf footwear, Boost technology is run throughout the midsole for energy return in each step and outstanding cushioning.

The adidas Golf adipower 4ORGED line comes with a one-year waterproof warranty, and is available for $140 per pair in the spiked model and $130 per pair in the spikeless model.
