Brittany Lincicome is a two-time major winner on the LPGA, and her smashmouth style of golf is a real joy to watch. Now the golfer known as Bam-Bam will see how her game fares on the PGA Tour.

Lincicome will reportedly accept a sponsor's invitation to compete in the PGA Tour's opposite-field Barbasol Championship, played opposite the Open Championship in July. Golf Digest was first to report the story.

The tournament had been played from its inception near Auburn, Ala., but it has moved this year to Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky. for the July 19-22 event.

Lincicome has eight LPGA titles including those two majors, and she's the back-to-back winner of the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. Perio Inc. is the parent company of both Barbasol and Pure Silk brands, and Lincicome has endorsed Pure Silk products in commercials and has worn their logo on her clothing. The exemption makes sense.

Lincicome will become the fifth woman to compete in an official PGA Tour event, joining Babe Zaharias, Annika Sorenstam, Michelle Wie and Suzy Whaley.
