Galvin Green has a reputation for being at the forefront of golf clothing technology, and they are continuing to earn that name with the new Interface 1 2018 range.
These innovative new clothes are at the cutting edge of golf wear while still being stylish and practical. Here’s a look at what makes the range so impressive.
What is Interface 1?
The latest innovation from Galvin Green is for their golf jackets and gilets with the aim of offering better performance in all conditions.
The range is the ideal hybrid of a golf mid-layer and an outer layer making a high-performance link between the two ranges. The company said that the products are suitable for 95 out of every 100 rounds of the year due to the versatility and functionality.
The new ranges incorporate some impressive new features. Top functions such as wind proof protection and highly reliable water-resistant materials are included along with new levels of stretch to the material for the best movement when being worn.
When compared with older ranges such as the GORE Windstopper, the new Interface 1 jackets are softer to the touch and have a smoother interior feel.
Each jacket is noticeably lighter in weight than the previous ranges while still being robust enough to give the wearer confidence. It uses highly breathable materials that also keep you warm regardless of surrounding temperatures.
The Lance is a full zip jacket available in four different colors that use the new 2.5 layer Interface 1 style. This makes it totally wind and water repellent as well as being breathable.
It combines a tight knit Polyester outer layer with a polyurethane membrane and is finished with a soft comfortable inner layer.
There are elastic bindings at the sleeve and hem and a repositioned side seam that offers the best comfort. The jacket also offers a stretch in the fabric that is unique to this particular style.
The Larry jacket is one of the new quilted styles of jacket that Galvin Green have added to the 2018 range. This is a very on-trend look that is also very practical and can be seen in the Larry jacket, which is available in both navy and black.
It uses the Interface 1 fabric and helps to sustain a core body temperature that keeps your focus on your game, not on your clothing. The adjustable waist and elastic sleeve binding make for a great fit.
The Lenny is a full zip body warmer that has an athletic fit for top comfort levels and the new Interface 1 fabric for the best in golfing technology.
It is both water repellent and windproof while remaining breathable when wearing.
It also has a stylish touch with the chest pocket and branding contrasting to the body colour of the gilet. There are two colour options, white or black.
The Leon jacket has the full zip and uses a color blocking style with a band across the chest and contrasting colour on either side, with the Lennox jacket offering a quarter zip equivalent. It comes in four variations – navy, black with white and orange, black with Kings blue and white and black with iron grey and white.
It combines the tight-knit polyester outer layer with a clever ePTFE membrane and a moisture management inner layer that makes it windproof and water repellent.
The Logan is another body warmer style, this time with the on-trend quilted look. Available in both black and navy it has a full zip style and helps to keep the core body temperature up so that focus stays on your play.
The Logan is expected to be the most popular item in the range with its wind protection, adjustable waist with and also a pocket in the check with a zipper closing.
