If you can't get to Augusta National and the Masters each year as a patron, and you're unlikely to get in as a contestant or a caddie or know someone who's playing in the tournament, then your next-best way to get inside the gates is working at the Masters.

The Masters has a variety of jobs available for the tournament week, plus a few days. In 2020, the jobs run fromĀ April 4 through April 12 (Championship Sunday). The jobs range from working concessions, helping prepare food, some housekeeping and cleaning, working in hospitality for some of the club's highest-profile guests and in retail at the Masters gift shops.

You must be at least 16 years old to apply, and you have to be able to work 10-12 hour shifts during the tournament. You have to be well-kept, on-time and be ready to work with a smile on your face and a good demeanor. You'll also need to be able to do a variety of jobs, not just one specific task.

The deadline to apply in Nov. 20, 2019.

You'll be on the grounds, and you might get to experience some of the tournament, too. It sounds like real work but a fascinating opportunity that can lead to invitations back each year.

And if you're looking to work permanently at Augusta National Golf Club, not just during the Masters, the club has a variety of jobs available.
