Actor Christopher McDonald is best known for his role as Shooter McGavin in the iconic golf movie "Happy Gilmore." Yeah, he's got hundreds of other credits, but he and everyone else knows he's Shooter.

McDonald, 62, was pulled over on Saturday in Los Angeles, and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He lost control of his Porsche and crashed into a gas meter at approximately 9 p.m., according to TMZ.

Before he was taken into custody, McDonald told the arresting officer that he was indeed Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore." That didn't mean much for his arrest. He was still arrested.

This is at least the second time McDonald has been taken into custody on DUI suspicion. He was also arrested under these charges in 2013.
