Presidents Cup captains Steve Stricker and Nick Price were literally on the first tee of event host Liberty National Golf Club on Monday, answering questions about the upcoming biennial matches. They were discussing strategy, team makeup, spirit and the like, when a couple of dudes roll up onto the tee box of what is normally the club's fifth hole. They're playing through.

Price, who is answering a question, has his back to the guys as he hears the pop of a driver well struck. He interrupts himself and then looks back at the commotion.

Turns out, Jordan Spieth and Daniel Berger were playing through.

The pair of superstars were getting in a recon mission at Liberty National on Monday, preparing for the Presidents Cup at the end of September. They were joined later on course by Stricker, as well 2018 Ryder Cup captain Jim Furyk, who is also a vice-captain for this American team.

After the players finished their day at Liberty National, they boarded a helicopter which landed on the club's helipad right next to the same tee box where they played through and headed back toward Manhattan from Jersey City.
