Tour Edge has unveiled to the professionals a new Tour Prototype Exotics hybrid that will make a broader debut on August 1.

The debut happened at the Constellation Senior Players Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md. The hybrid, which has been in the works for two years, combines carbon composite (likely in the crown, maybe the sole), Hyper steel and Beta titanium into a single package designed to produce a more penetrating ball flight with less axial spin to perform better in the wind with smaller dispersion.

From the tour's recon, a pair of major winners put the club into play that week, and Brandt Jobe, who finished T-2 in the event and already won this year at the Principal Charity Classic, used it as well.
