The 2017 US Senior Open continues on Saturday (July 1) with the third round from Salem Country Club just outside of Boston, Mass. The third round begins right at 7 a.m. Eastern time, with players teeing off two tees on the third-time tournament host.
Gene Sauers is defending champion in a field headlines by Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer and Miguel Angel Jimenez, all vying for the $720,000 third-place prize from the $4 million prize pool.

The 2017 US Senior Open leaderboard is headed by Kirk Triplett and Kenny Perry, who share the lead at 11-under 129 through two rounds. Doug Garwood is two strokes behind and alone in third place, while Scott Verplank and Bernhard Langer share fourth place. (The USGA has the live leaderboard.)
Tee times and featured groups
A weekend field of 61 players teed off in twosomes on Saturday at Salem Country Club, with the 2017 US Senior Open Saturday tee times running from 8:35 a.m. Eastern time through the final group at 1:50 p.m. Here are some marquee groups throughout the day.
