The 2017 US Senior Open continues on Friday (June 30) with the second round from Salem Country Club just outside of Boston, Mass. The second round begins right at 7 a.m. Eastern time, with players teeing off two tees on the second-time tournament host.

Gene Sauers is defending champion in a field headlines by Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer and Miguel Angel Jimenez, all vying for the $720,000 second-place prize from the $4 million prize pool.

Tee times and featured groups

A starting field of 156 players teed off in threesomes on Friday at Salem Country Club, with the 2017 US Senior Open Friday tee times running from 7 a.m. Eastern time through the final group at 2:54 p.m. Here are some marquee groups throughout the day.

The USGA releases the second-round pin sheet with the pin placements (or as they say officially, hole locations) just before play gets going in the morning.

TV times and how to watch online

The US Senior Open airs on TV on Friday on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), with coverage going from 2-7 p.m. Eastern.

On the Fox Sports Go app and on usga.org, streaming coverage beings at 2 p.m. Eastern. On the USGA website, two channels of streaming coverage begin at 10 a.m.
