Cobra Golf is expanding its lineup of clubs under the King Oversized brand, adding hybrids to the mix. As the name implies, they're larger-profile hybrids that are more like a fairway wood in size with the idea of being an easy-to-hit long-iron replacement.

The hybrids sport a larger Pwrshell face to increase the area where off-center hits can still get good distance through more flex in the face for a higher launch. Tungsten weighting is used inside the club to lower the center of gravity, while a TeXtreme carbon fiber crown saves 8g of discretionary weight compared to a steel hybrid crown.

The King OS hybrids have MyFly eight-way adjustability with the SmartPad, designed to keep the clubface square regardless of settings.

The Cobra Golf King OS hybrids are available June 2 for $249 each in 3-4H (19-22 degrees), 4-5H (22-25 degrees) and 5-6H (25-28 degree) models with a UST Recoil 460 ES graphite shaft in all flexes.

Coming July 8 are two eight-piece combo sets: 3-4H and 4-5H; 6-PW, GW in steel shafts for $1,099) as well an all graphite offering for $1,199.
