The 2017 Valspar Championship betting odds have been released for the week at Innisbrook Resort near Tampa, Fla.

The betting favorite this week is Justin Thomas, who comes in at 8-to-1 (+800) betting odds after a close call at a fourth win this season in Mexico. Henrik Stenson, who WD'd from Mexico with food poisoning, is at 10-to-1, while Matt Kuchar, Ryan Moore and Patrick Reed are tied for third-best at 25-to-1 betting odds.

If you're looking for someone to wager on at this week's Valspar Championship, then we have three expert picks for you: our favorite, our sleeper and our longshot.

  • Favorite: Justin Thomas -- Thomas is at 8-to-1 and sputtered on Sunday with a chance to win in Mexico City. However, he's still the class of this field.
  • Sleeper: Charles Howell III -- It's worth it to take a chance on CH3 on courses which he loves, and that includes Innisbrook, particularly at 33-to-1, though we'd like him more weeks at like 60-to-1.
  • Longshot: Stewart Cink -- Cink is doing well this season, no doubt. And he's got a couple of top-15s here when he was playing well in 2011 and '13. At 100-to-1? You bet.
