Justin Rose made some golf fans' year in early January, when he teed it up with two GolfNow customers who won the round by booking frequently the Golf Channel-owned tee-time service.

In December, 71-year-old Jim Clarke learned he and a friend had won an opportunity to play with Rose at Albany in the Bahamas. Clarke chose his half-century-long golf buddy Bill for the round of a lifetime shortly after Golf Channel's Charlie Rymer called Clarke while they were both on the course to tell them about their big win.

On Jan. 6, the pair were in the Bahamas for two nights and their round with the 2013 U.S. Open winner. Rose played all 18 with the guys, who were also fitted for 2017 TaylorMade equipment. They then had a good clubhouse lunch, a chat and an opportunity to see Rose's Olympic gold medal.

Playing with a pro in any setting is an eye-opening experience, and the pros make it easy to realize the difference between their games and ours. However, the full day with Rose had to have made the whole day complete.
