Scotty Cameron Select Newport 3 putter

Let's start with the Select Newport 3, which is a teardrop-shaped, heel-shafted mid-mallet. This model, milled from 303 stainless steel and featuring a lightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminum face inlay, is geared toward players who prefer a smaller round mallet with additional toe flow (for a more dramatic open-and-close stroke) and forgiveness, including a 3/4-inch offset flow-neck.

The face inlay is designed to dampen vibration and offer more feedback that's "soft but solid," while the Silver Mist raw stainless steel finish is a beautiful look. Two removable stainless-steel heel-toe weights offer customization for your stroke. The Matadaor mid-size grip is a little larger while maintaining feel.

The Select Newport 3 is available March 17 for $410 each.

Scotty Cameron 2017 Futura putters

The 2017 Scotty Cameron Futura putter line comprises seven mallet-style models designed for forgiveness, ranging from mid-mallet shapes to high-MOI larger mallets that blend ideas from the GOLO and Futura X lines.

Each of the heads, with a 303 stainless steel base and face-sole construction made from ightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, in the line comes with two removable stainless steel sole weights, stepless steel shafts and Black Matador mid-size grips. Weight is moved to the perimeter for higher moment of inertia and forgiveness, while a variety of alignment markers on each of the heads help frame the putt.

The raw stainless steel surfaces have a Silver Mist finish with a bead blast, and the aluminum sole plates have been anodized in black, while three translucent red dots in the back cavity complete the look.

Here's a look at each model:

Futura 5CB and Futura 5MB: Rounded mid-mallets with multi-material face-sole technology, with the Futura 5CB (for "cavity back”) featuring a pop-through black anodized 6061 aircraft aluminum flange plate and single milled sight line on the topline. Futura 5MB (for “muscle back”) features a refined, rounded 303 stainless steel back flange with a Silver Mist finish and a single milled sight line. The 5CB has a left-handed option.

Futura 5W and Futura 5S: The Futura 5W (for “wing”) is shaped similarly to the Futura X5 but has full wrap-around multi-material face-sole technology and dual-purpose alignment features that frame the ball and aligns the sweet spot with white flange lines placed parallel to each wing. Futura 5S (for “straight shaft”) is a more compact, aesthetically updated version of Futura X7M with a straight shaft setup and dual-purpose alignment.

Futura 6M: This putter (with the “M” standing for “MOI”) has the best MOI-enhancing traits of the original Futura X model with some design functions of the Futura X7M, including deep heel-toe weights for max MOI. A Futura 6M Dual Balance model is also available with a 50-gram heavier head and a 50-gram counterweight in the grip end of the shaft. The 6M has a left-handed model.

Futura 7M: The Futura X7M is the inspiration here, with refined shaping of the back wings that moves weight behind the putter face for added forgiveness and serves as an alignment aid.

All of the 2017 Scotty Cameron Futura putters will be available in on March 17 at $410 each, except for the Futura 6M Dual Balance, which comes in at $425.
