The 2016 CIMB Classic marks the second event of the 2016-17 PGA Tour season, with Justin Thomas defending his first PGA Tour title in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. This is a limited-field event with some entrants from the Asian Tour.
Paul Casey, fresh off a T-3 at the Safeway Open, leads the betting odds at 12-to-1 along with Hideki Matsuyama, Patrick Reed and Adam Scott. Two-time winner Ryan Moore is at 14-to-1, while Justin Thomas is at 16-to-1.
