Look at Peyton Manning’s congratulatory letter to Crooked Stick grounds crew after the BMW

The grounds crew at any major golf tournament rarely gets the credit that they deserve for their hard work to get a golf course ready, no matter the weather.

Retired NFL quarterback and Peyton Manning made sure that wasn't the case for the team at Crooked Stick Golf Club, where he is a member, after the BMW Championship.

Manning sent a letter to the grounds staff after a week filled with rain and wind, congratulating them on making the course shine despite the weather working against them.

Here's the letter in full:

TO THE GREAT STAFF AT CROOKED STICK,

Thank you for your hard work in making the 2016 BMW Championship such a success. I know you faced some tough conditions over the last month and went above and beyond to make sure Crooked Stick remained in immaculate condition and was a great host for the best players in the world. As in football, the people behind the scenes make everything happen and rarely get the recognition they deserver. Rest assured, I and the entire membership at Crooked Stick appreciate your hard work and understand how important you were to the success of this Championship. Please enjoy some Papa John's and Budweiser on me tonight.

With Appreciation,
Peyton Manning

Of course Manning had to slip in name drops of Papa John's, as he owns a bunch of pizza franchises, and Budweiser, because he has a stake in a distributor.
