The 2016 DAP Championship was won by Bryson DeChambeau, who picked up his first professional win in the first stage of the 2016 Web.com Tour Finals. He won at Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio, taking the title on the second hole of a playoff over Andres Gonzales. Julian Etulain and Nicholas Lindheim were eliminated on the first hole of the playoff.
All four players finished at 7-under-par 273. Zack Sucher finished alone in fifth at 6 under par.
DeChambeau won the $180,000 winner's share of the $1 million purse.
