Juli Inkster is a fan of continuity, and she's hoping that recipe will help her American Solheim Cup team next August in Iowa.

At the one-year-out news conference for the biennial matches at Des Moines Golf and Country Club, Inkster announced she would be bringing back the same vice-captains as the 2015 matches in Germany: Nancy Lopez, Pat Hurst and Wendy Ward.

“I'm sure it's not a shocker,” Inkster said. “I just felt like everybody brought a special thing to the team, and we worked really well as a team. Everybody put their voice in, and I liked it that they spoke up when they thought things weren't going the right way or they thought we needed to change something."

The result in 2015 was good, with the U.S. overcoming a four-point deficit entering the final singles session to win back the cup that was lost on U.S. soil for the first time in 2013 in Colorado. Inkster feels confident that her vice-captains -- and peers -- will help guide her and the 12-woman team to victory again.

“I don't need some `yes’ people. I need people to speak up," Inkster said. "With these three, I definitely feel like I have that. It's not a dictatorship. I want everybody involved, and I feel like I got that with them.”

The 2017 Solheim Cup matches will be played Aug. 18-20.
