The 2016 Paul Lawrie Match Play invites 64 of the best players in Europe and from around the world to Scotland in a single-elimination, bracket-style match play event. Aberdeen Asset Management in sponsoring in Year 2 of the event, played this year at Archerfield Links Golf Club.
Alex Noren and Chris Wood are the top two players in the field, going off at 12-to-1 and 14-to-1, respectively. Matt Fitzpatrick is right in there as well at 16-to-1.
Peter Uihlein is among the betting favorites and one of few Americans in the field at 28-to-1.
