The 2016 AT&T Byron Nelson heads to the weekend with 40-year-old Ben Crane in the lead by one shot at 12-under 128. Trailing him in second place are Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Sergio Garcia and Bud Cauley.
Cauley, Garcia and Wes Roach, who is at 10 under par, are in the next-to-last threesome on Saturday, going off at 11:40 a.m. Central. Crane, Koepka and Spieth are grouped together in the final pairing at 11:50 a.m.
With the size of the field after the 36-hole cut, the 83-player field was grouped into threesomes off the first and 10th tees at TPC Four Seasons. A secondary cut will be made down to the number nearest 70 players after Saturday play.
