2016 AT&T Byron Nelson Monday qualifiers

Jack Newman, Conrad Shindler, Lance Lopez and Kyle Robbins all earned spots in the 2016 AT&T Byron Nelson through the Monday qualifier.

Newman was the medalist in the 18-hole qualifier at Gentle Creek Country Club in Prosper, Texas, shooting 7-under 65 to get the win. Shindler shot 66 to finish alone in second.

Lopez and Robbins were two of four players to shoot 5-under 67 and wind up in a four-for-two playoff. Austin Connelly and Parker MacLachlin wound up the odd men out of the AT&T Byron Nelson field at Dallas' TPC Four Seasons on Thursday.

Newman, 28, is a product of Michigan State University. This will be his third career PGA Tour start. He missed the cut at the 2009 Masters and finished T-39 at the John Deere Classic that summer.

Shindler is a Dallas native who went to Texas A&M. He's making his second PGA Tour start after missing the cut at the 2013 Valero Texas Open. He played twice on the Web.com Tour last year, cashing with a T-63 at the Utah Championship.

Lopez, 28, is making his second PGA Tour start, missing the cut at last year's Valero Texas Open. The University of Texas product has made four Adams Tour starts in 2016, finishing in the money twice, including a T-4.

Robbins is making his PGA Tour debut, and, according to his Twitter profile, is a big Seinfeld fan.
