Kevin Kisner welcomed back to Palmetto Club after video-related suspension

Kevin Kisner can go back to his home club in South Carolina again. The 2015 RSM Classic winner is no longer suspended from the Palmetto Golf Club, which made Kisner take a timeout after he and his buddies enjoyed some cart-racing antics and other frowned-upon behavior for a Vice Sports video.

Why he was suspended in the first place remains a mystery to us and Kisner.

“I’m back in,” Kisner said to the Sun News. “It was short-lived after we had a few discussions and cooler heads prevailed, I think. I haven’t been there, but I’m allowed in. It was super odd. I was totally blindsided by it. I think we’ve learned and we’ll move past it.”

Kisner, who grew up in Aiken, S.C., is building a home off a fairway at the club, where he has played since he was a child.

After finishing off 2015 with that first PGA Tour win, Kisner has struggled to replicate his three-playoff-loss season from 2014-15. Since finishing tied for fifth at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January, Kisner has missed three of eight cuts and not finished better than tied for 23rd at the World Golf Championships event at Doral.
