Ellie Day, whose maiden name is Harvey, was working at a restaurant when she met Day in Ohio in 2005. They later started dating after running into each other, introduced by Day's caddie and swing teacher Colin Swatton. They were married in 2009 and live in the Columbus, Ohio area.
